| Based on the carp wind streamers flown in Japan for Kodomo No Hi (Children's Day) on May 5, this sculpture is a study in making a circular tube out of 1x2 bricks. Rectangular bricks were layered and flexed at the gaps, creating the roundness. 109 rows make up the body (3.5 ft long). The fins are attached by Technic axels at appropriately located 1x2 holed bricks. | |||||||||
