From Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, this is my first LEGO sculpture. She's close to life size, heighting at about 5 ft. I haven't weighted her, but I know she's rather heavy--ask my foot, who she fell on during construction. And I haven't counted the number of pieces. Roughly, it took 46 tubs of 1200 pieces (she's not hollow, she's got a structurally sound interior for supporting her weight), 1 Halloween bucket (for the orange that didn't photograph too well, on the "light balls" at the bottom of her royalness), and some tan pieces (hands). Timewise, I worked on her for about a month. |
